Common Vision For Real Transformation

This document describes what is required for meaningful transformation: Family Alliance Ontario, People First Ontario, Special Services at Home Provincial Coalition, and Individualized Funding Coalition for Ontario are the members of the Common Vision Group.

The Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) and its community partners are currently engaged in a “transformation process”.
Four provincial organizations that represent individuals with disabilities and their families collaborated to produce a 2 part newsletter/document called “COMMON VISION FOR REAL TRANSFORMATION”.

You are encouraged to share this vision and to make your position known to government representatives.

Families and people with disabilities were involved in the consultation process. The government, MCSS Developmental Services Branch has written a Consultation paper titled “Opportunities and Action”.
